You are an Experienced Practice Accountant with the skills required to work for a growing accountancy and tax advisory firm based in Petersfield. A small but perfectly formed, dynamic Accountancy practice working closely with a strong team, you will want to strive to grow and nurture the footings created for this almost complete family business which has been in the makings since 1972.

Who’s right for this job?

• You are driven to go above and beyond for clients
• You’ll have the ability to prepare Accounts for Limited Companies, LLPs, Partnerships, Soletraders
• You’ll have up to date knowledge of UK gap and FRS 102
• You’ll have the ability to prepare corporate and personal tax returns
• You’ll have up to date knowledge of current tax legislation and company law, personal taxknowledge a massive advantage
• You’ll have the ability to prepare and submit VAT returns
• You’ll play a key role in developing and growing the practice
• You’ll have experience of liaising with and advising clients on tax and accounting matters

Skills crucial to the success in this role- Must haves:

• Previous experience working in a practice environment
• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, ATT, AAT) would consider part qualified
• Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent service to clients
• Ability manage daily workloads unsupervised
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of accounting/tax systems – Xero, VT Transactions, Taxfiler, and payroll manager
• IT skills – excel, word, outlook

Hours:

Full time with potential for flexible working depending on the circumstances

Remuneration:

Competitive depending on experience, Pension, parking. Development potential to be part of a growing practice. Please note, we are not looking for a short term solution but the ability to invest in the right person long-term.

Location:

Petersfield. Central location with free parking. An hour from London and half an hour from the South Coast, Petersfield hosts a plethora of reasons to want to work in this undemanding Market Town.
